About Me
I come from Singur, a small town in West Bengal, India. My educational journey began in Singur, where I completed my schooling. Then I pursued a BSc in Chemistry (Honors) from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, Belur, affiliated with the University of Calcutta. After that, I did MSc in Chemistry at IIT Guwahati. I joined the S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences in Kolkata for my Ph.D. under the expert guidance of Prof. Ranjit Biswas. My doctoral research centered around the fascinating topic of Heterogeneity and Its Impact on Molten Multi-component Systems. As a postdoctoral research scholar with Prof. Hue Sun Chan at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Toronto, Canada, I worked on Coarse-grain Simulations of Liquid-liquid Phase Separation in Membraneless Organelles. I also received the prestigious Ramanujan Fellowship in Chemical Science 2023 and worked briefly at NIT Manipur, India.
